Our Story

Our Love Story

How it started

Traditionally Tono had always attended an international sailing competition, except in 2014. Instead, he went to Lake Balaton to relax.

Luca's family had always gone for holidays abroad, except in 2014. Instead, they went to Lake Balaton.

We had briefly met before that year, so when we saw each other again at the lake, we said hi and started talking... and we haven't stopped since.

Start of an adventure

In 2017 Tono graduated from the University of Pazmany Peter and started a grad role.

2017 was also the year when Luca graduated from grammar school and got accepted to the University of Bristol.

A difficult but exciting chapter was ahead of us and we both wanted the best for each other. Hence, Luca moved to Bristol for her studies and Tono learnt everything he could from the grad scheme.

We grew a lot as individuals in our long-distance period. Then in 2018, Tono took a leap and moved to Bristol.

Building a home

After an unfortunate event in the family, we had the opportunity to think bigger.

We started to do some research into properties, look around on the market and there it was, our first home, with lots of potential!

And this is what we have been doing together since then, unlocking that potential and making it ours. Thus, we have learnt how to fit new windows and doors, how to use powertools, and every characteristic of the composite material.

The Tópart Hotel has plenty of rooms to spend the night there before or after the event. You will surely see us there.

By Car

The Tópart Hotel offers plenty of space for on-site free parking.

By Public Transportation

Balatonvilágos is the first town at Balaton from Budapest, with good and convenient reach by train. The train station is a 4-minute walk from the Hotel.
